Grubbeskolan is a school for students in grades 7–9.

We have a schoolyard and an artificial turf field that invites activity. Our focus is on knowledge, safety, and well-being. There are also profile classes in music. The staff is qualified and engaged, and we have good cooperation with parents. Grubbeskolan is one of Umeå municipality's training schools, which means that during the school year we receive teacher students for their practical training, VFU. We are now looking for a primary school teacher with qualifications in Swedish and Spanish for grades 6-9!

Employment Information

The position is a temporary part-time position of about 60-80% according to agreement, starting as soon as possible according to agreement until 2026-06-12. There may be a possibility for extension.

Job Responsibilities

Your task as a primary school teacher is to plan and conduct teaching based on the curriculum, but also to make a more comprehensive plan together with colleagues. You will individually and together with colleagues follow up, evaluate, and analyze teaching as well as assess and document students' knowledge development. You are responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that contributes to students' achievement of goals. As a teacher, you are responsible for informing the student and guardians about the student's knowledge development.

About You

You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, structure, and context for all students. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents. You differentiate and vary teaching based on students' needs. You share your knowledge and experiences to contribute to collegial learning. An important part of the teaching role is to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Teaching certification with qualifications for teaching in grades 7-9
• Experience teaching at the secondary level
• Valid extract from the criminal record
• Good knowledge of the Swedish and Spanish languages in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Qualifications to teach Swedish and Spanish
